It's the most wonderful time of the year to learn a new skill! Let's get together for some hands-on and creative fun on December 10th at 10am. During this class kiddos will learn about cordless drills, sandpaper, hammers, nails, & how to use all of them safely. They will have the option to clamp their art piece and drill the hole for the ribbon with our assistance. We are happy to do it for them if they prefer. We'll use sandpaper to smooth edges, hammers to tap in nails, & then wrap green string around the nails to make lovely evergreens. (Nail holes will be pre-drilled for ease.) Glue is provided to add glitter snowflake shapes & a star sticker for the top of the tree. We'll finish off our projects with a pipe cleaner trunk & bells added to the ribbon. We will provide hands-on guidance throughout the class. All supplies will be provided, including safety glasses & crafting aprons.
After we finish our string art trees there will be a brief story time and snack. *Please let us know if your child has a food allergy. Participants receive a coupon good for $1 off of one of our take and make kits.
Measures 2.5" x 4" (not including ribbon)
Class time approximately 45 minutes. Age recommendation 4-10. All participants must sign a waiver before participating: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/6161ce870052f/web/
Parents are welcome to be as hands-on or off as they feel comfortable but must remain at Honeynut Home for the entirety of the class. Siblings are welcome to hang out in our lounge area. We will provide crayons & paper at our kids picnic table.
We are so excited to share this special time with your kiddos!
